About the Website

The Ounsdale High School website underwent a huge transformation in March 2007, whereby a new in-house website replaced the previous Ounsdale webspace. Since March 2007 there has been continuous development to bring the latest news and information to visitors to the site. The site is updated regularly, and contains a vast wealth of important information. During Summer 2009 the site underwent a further facelift, with many new features to be added during 2010.

We welcome suggestions from visitors to the site as to ways in which we could develop further. Please e-mail these to our Webmaster (handyd@ounsdale.staffs.sch.uk) who will be happy to hear from you.

Viewing the Website

  • This website is optimised for Microsoft Internet Explorer (version 5+) running on Microsoft Windows PCs with a screen resolution of 1024x768 pixels or higher, as used by the vast majority of users.
  • The website is also compatible with alternative modern web browsers (such as Netscape 7+ or FireFox) and other systems (Macs, lower screen resolutions, PDA's / i-phones), but may not display correctly due to the screen size and the way in which the browser 'reads' the code.
  • To ensure pages display fully (animations, graphics, etc), you should also have Macromedia Flash Player (version 6+) installed

Viewing Downloadable Documents

  • Some documents on this website are downloadable as Adobe Acrobat (.PDF), Microsoft Word (.DOC) or Microsoft PowerPoint (.PPT, .PPS) files, to allow greater control over formatting and functionality than a webpage
